A Time to Give Back

For the past few years, Dad and Heather have decorated a flatbed truck and drove through the poorer neighborhoods in Phoenix and threw candy to kids. Last year BJ and I were here to help and it was awesome. This year we did it again.... but we went bigger and better. We had 500 bags of candy and lots of stuffed animals. Dad dressed up as Santa and gave the kids stuffed animals while we threw candy from the back....(or if you were me, you spent most of the ride trying not to cry at all the sad kids who have nothing). One mom actually looked right at Kailea and me and said "Thank you so much, Thank you" We were fighting the tears. Kailea were busy coming up with plans to get bigger next year..... Anyone who wants to help, rummage sale.... find stuffed animals and wash them up. We can use all the help we can get. The looks on those families faces was unbelieveable. Can't wait to help next year.
