Bethlehem Marketplace

Every three years our church, Elmbrook, turns the gym into the marketplace of Bethlehem. We decided to go this year. It was wonderful. You walked in and everyone was dressed and acting. There were animals, including 2 camels, and all different kinds of "stands" that you could go to in the marketplace and purchase things. Personally, I wanted the stone at the beginning of the market that had "Bethlehem" carved into it.... how cool would that be to have a stone with MY NAME carved into it.... you don't find very many "Bethlehem" name artifacts - matter of fact, you don't find other people named Bethlehem - I am one of a kind!!
Anyway, at the beginning they give you 3 gold coins and tell you to be generous to the beggars. We walked up to one beggar and Memphis gladly handed over a coin to him. Then I told Amelia to go give him one - she walks right up to the beggar and takes his coins. She gave them back, plus one of hers, but it was still a funny story at the time.
